 I'm a professional genealogist working mostly in central Missouri counties.   I have a Bachelor's in History, Masters in Library Science, member of the Genealogical Society of Central Missouri, Missouri State Genealogy Association, Association of Professional Genealogists, 15 years experience, lecturer, writer.   Laura Jane Pace Crane, Columbia, Missouri advance retainer suggested.   I do most of my research at the State Historical Society of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri as the newspapers are there as well as the census, cemetery books and some probate and marriage records.

Jerry Patricia Austin, Ph.D.
  I have in my possession the books, Biographical Sketches of Cooper County, Missouri, Vol I and Vol II, History of Cooper County, Missouri, by W. F. Johnson, written in 1919 and Confederate Mail Carrier, by James Bradley, written in 1854.

I also have a book entitled "Reminiscences of the Women of Missouri During the Sixties" which contains the stories of women from Cooper County, Missouri during the time during the Civil War.   I will be glad to do lookups in these books and photocopy the pages indicated in the index for a surname or topic.

I am currently full time employed so I cannot do a great number each week.   But, I have a great interest in this area and enjoy research.   Please let me know if I can be on help.

  I have and will do research in Cooper County, Missouri, if you are not in a hurry. I am not a professional genealogist, but have the experience of researching nine lines of my own family and have been helping others thru our County Historical Society.

Have access to the records of our County Hist. Society and records from the Court House here in Cooper County, Missouri as well. Also from a number of historical books on the County as well.

  I am a native Cooper Countian and willing to do reseach in Cooper County and the State Historical Library in Columbia (Newspapers).   I have a extensvie library of my own, and have access to the Cooper County Court House,  Boonslick Library and the resources of the Cooper County Historical Research Center. I try and keep my rates reasonable.

Cooper County Historical Society
 The Cooper County Historical Society will do research for individuals, ten dollars for a "on site" search, (cemetery records, history books, family records, etc.,) Further research for wills, marriages will be available with volunteers for additional fees.
